Eighteen Countries Send Delegations to CHTF 2010

SHENZHEN, China, November 22, 2010 - The China High Tech Trade Fair 2010 ("CHTF 2010") was inaugurated in
SZCZC on November 16th. During the fair, superior projects and frontier
technologies in new-emerging industrial fields such as energy saving,
environmental protection, new generation information technologies, biology,
high-end manufacturing, new energies, new materials and new energy
automobiles, among others, and the achievements of China in these fields have
been exhibited.

Taking "Technology-led Transition and Innovation-driven Development" as
the theme, CHTF 2010 is composed of nine exhibition halls. All provinces,
autonomous regions and municipalities under the direct jurisdiction of the
Central Government; municipalities with independent planning status in China
as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan sent their delegations to the
exhibition and conference, fostering a reunion of all provinces and
municipalities. Twenty-six famous colleges and universities including the
University of Hong Kong and Peking University and 28 foreign delegations from
18 countries such as Ireland, Egypt, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Poland,
Denmark, Russia, France, Philippines, Finland, South Korea, the Netherlands,
Canada, the USA, Hungary, Turkey and Brazil have attended it; along with
minister-level officials from five countries including Israel, Hungary and
Vietnam who joined in the Ministerial Forum of CHTF 2010. Furthermore, 33
trans-national companies participated and professional visitors from 36
countries and regions have registered for participation.

During the CHTF 2010, a series of China High-tech Forums, including
Ministerial Forum, Capital Market Summit, Chinese Entrepreneur Summit
International Summit on Green (New) Energy and Low-carbon Development will be
held. These forums will discuss such hot issues as stipulation of policies
relevant to energy utilization modes and development of new energy industries
as well as opportunities and risks of investment on the new-emerging
industries, and illustrate the opportunities brought by the development of
these newly-emerging industries.
