LONDON, December 7 - Home Learning College (HLC) today announces that it is the first and only
vocational distance learning provider to be accredited as an academic
institution by the National Union of Students (NUS). This means that HLC can
now exclusively offer its home study students (
www.homelearningcollege.com/StudentCommunity/) the NUS Extra Card -
affording them a wealth of discounts and offers.

The NUS serves as the unified voice of UK students, representing the
interests of over 95%, or seven million, of the students in higher or further
education.

The NUS Extra Card is designed to help students make their cash stretch
further. With literally thousands of discounts across a multitude of
purchases like books, clothes, gigs and eating out, the announcement will
come as welcome news to current and prospective students at Home Learning
College.

A small selection of the offers available to NUS Extra Card holders
include:

    - 5% off books, music and DVDs and more at Amazon

    - 10% off a student price ticket at the Odeon

    - 10% discount at Matalan

    - Win GBP100 shopping spree with boohoo.com

    - Free annual travel insurance when you purchase motor insurance from
      Endsleigh

    - GBP10 free credit with an Orange SIM

    - Up to 20% on cleaning with Johnson Cleaners

    - Get up to 15% discount on Mac products at Apple

    - 15% off at BB's Coffee and Muffins

    - Save 10% at Comet on computer peripherals

    - Snappy Snaps are offering 10% discount

As an extra bonus, students can upgrade their NUS Extra Card to include
an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) to gain access to discounts in
140 countries worldwide. This can be particularly handy when travelling, as
the ISIC is an internationally recognised student ID card that entitles
members to tens of thousands of discounts and offers.

All current students at Home Learning College (
www.homelearningcollege.com/) will be informed of this new benefit
through a programme of email marketing, e-newsletters and promotion on the
Virtual Learning Community.
