Once customers open an account, their financial details are securely stored, meaning that when paying for Monarch flights via PayPal , customers do not need to re-enter their financial details, and are therefore able to benefit from a faster booking process.
Commenting on the PayPal partnership and promotion, managing director of Monarch Flights and Holidays, Liz Savage, said, “Monarch was the first European Airline to join forces with PayPal in 2007 and offer customers a secure alternative to credit and debit card transactions. A growing number of our customers now choose to pay for their flights using PayPal and have spent over GBP10 million since its introduction. As a thank you to them for their continued support, we are delighted to be waiving the booking fees on all flights booked on monarch.co.uk and paid for using PayPal before the end of September.”
Also commenting on the partnership, Carl Scheible, PayPal’s UK managing director, said, “Monarch’s decision to accept PayPal in 2007 was a landmark for us, showing consumers they could use PayPal on a wide range of websites as well as eBay.co.uk. We’ve been delighted at how many PayPal customers have booked flights with Monarch. A growing number of big brands also now accept PayPal on their websites, giving our 26 million UK account holders more choice than ever when they shop online.”

In addition to year-round low fares, Monarch also offers a unique range of tasty hot and cold meals onboard with prices from GBP3.00.
