Omobono to Create FSA Divorce Website
By Omobono Ltd, PRNEThursday, November 26, 2009
CAMBRIDGE, England, November 27 - Digital marketing agency Omobono has been appointed to build the
Financial Services Authority (FSA)'s financial capability website on divorce
and separation. Omobono will start work immediately for the site to be
available in Spring 2010.
The FSA, regulator of the financial services industry in the UK, selected
Omobono from a long list of 57 agencies nationwide who applied via OJEU
tender.
Fran Brosan, chairman of Omobono, commented "We are delighted to be part
of such a key project, reaching people separating or divorcing with guidance
at a time when managing finances is extremely challenging and legal processes
complicate the issue. We are particularly pleased to be working in
partnership with our client Mills and Reeve, one of the UK's top 50 law
firms, and see it as a positive affirmation of the quality of our work in
both the financial and public sectors with Legal & General, Business Link and
the COI (Central Office of Information)."
The microsite will form part of the FSA's web offering for consumers,
helping people improve their financial capability at key life junctures. The
wider offering includes the FSA's existing website for consumers -
Moneymadeclear, www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk, -which offers real help
on money matters and separate information for young adults and parents.
Independent research identified the need for a totally impartial website
which helps people facing divorce and separation to cope with the significant
financial pressures that inevitably arise. The divorce and separation site
will cover, amongst other things, coping with immediate financial needs,
budgeting for two households, tax credits and future financial needs.
Mills and Reeve developed www.divorce.co.uk, the UK's premier
resource on divorce and separation.
