Unique and Innovative New Functionality Enables Huge Cost Reductions for Large Enterprises

BALLERUP, Denmark, July 8, 2010 - Today, SafeCom A/S, a leading provider of secure printing and document

SafeCom Smart Printing functionality that enables companies to drastically
consolidate printing infrastructures, reduce print costs, centralize
administration and improve document security.

This new SafeCom Smart Printing functionality meets the urgent demands of
most financial and IT managers who need ways to consolidate, standardize and
centrally control their printing operations in order to reduce costs and
simplify working patterns.

The technical challenges are only too well known. Enterprises with large
print volumes and many geographical locations often have widely dispersed
print infrastructures. This is costly as well as inefficient, and bandwidth
gridlock is often a barrier preventing inclusion of remote sites within
central print management systems.

But SafeCom now brings good news to enterprises. By utilizing the new
SafeCom Smart Printing solution, large companies can reduce the number of
print servers and include remote offices because printed documents no longer
have to travel over the corporate network. But how is this possible?

"Our developers found a simple yet elegant solution," explains Hugo
Marqvorsen, VP Business Development at SafeCom. "Ready-to-print documents are
stored locally on the user's computer until he or she authenticates at any
network MFP or printer to collect the document. But, only the authentication
data are sent via the corporate network to the central SafeCom server, and
this requires a minimum network bandwidth."

The new SafeCom Smart Printing solution release has already proven its
worth.

"One company saved EUR205,000 by reducing the number of print servers
from 45 to 4," continues Hugo Marqvorsen, VP Business Development at SafeCom.
"We are convinced that the new release of SafeCom Smart Printing will allow
many enterprises to gain control of their spiraling printing costs, simplify
operations and optimize print services throughout the entire organization."

The new release additionally offers support for Unicode, enhanced
encryption and AES. The installation process has been made even easier, and
print administration has been simplified in order to help companies control
and manage their print services more efficiently.

SafeCom's new Enterprise version is available today, and existing
customers who have a maintenance contract can update their current SafeCom
installation free of charge. The new version is compatible with previous
versions.
