Thomas T. Riley Awarded 2009 Sue M. Cobb Award For Exemplary Diplomatic Service

WASHINGTON, November 17 - Savvis, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVVS), a global leader in outsourced managed
computing and network infrastructure for IT applications, today announced
Thomas T. Riley, Senior Vice President, Managing Director Savvis
International has received the 2009 Sue M. Cobb Award for Exemplary
Diplomatic Service, the only award given by the State Department to a
political-appointee Ambassador. Prior to joining Savvis, Riley served as the
U.S. Ambassador to Morocco from January 2004 to January 2009.

The Sue M. Cobb Award for Exemplary Diplomatic Service is presented to a
non-career ambassador who has used private sector leadership and management
skills to make a significant impact on bilateral or multilateral relations
and has done so in a manner that best reflects the Foreign Service culture of
uncommon commitment in carrying out United States foreign policy through
proactive diplomacy. The award is made possible by the generosity of Sue M.
Cobb
, Former U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica.

The award was presented to Ambassador Riley by Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton
at a formal awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. Signed by Clinton the
award read, "In recognition of your extraordinary strategic vision, dynamism,
leadership, and Management of Mission Morocco from 2004 until 2009. Your
promotion of U.S. business, the Free Trade Agreement and the Millennium
Challenge Account Compact will be lasting legacies."

"Ambassador Riley is an innovative and visionary leader whose
extraordinary management ability has produced many achievements on U.S.
foreign policy priorities and invigorated Mission Morocco," according to
Ambassador Thomas B. Robertson, Dean of Leadership and Management at the
Foreign Service Institute. "He played a pivotal role in Morocco's decision to
purchase a U.S. military aircraft worth US$2.4 billion. This is more than the
sum of all Foreign Military Sales since the U.S. began its' security
assistance relationship with the Kingdom in 1956."
