Ten Technology Projects in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area Named Part of the 2010 National Science and Technology Plan

TIANJIN, China, July 1, 2010 - Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology released, "Notice on the
Naming of Relevant Projects for the 2010 National Science and Technology
Plan," and "Notice on the Establishment of the 2010 Funds for the
Transformation of Agricultural Scientific and Technological Achievements
Program." Ten projects located in the Tianjin Economic-Technological
Development Area were among those chosen.

Of these projects, four, including Tian Jin Tianlong Seeds Science and
Technology Co., Ltd.'s "Public Services Platform for Information on the
Export of Hybrid Rice," were also named part of the National Torch Program.
Four projects, including Tianjin Zibo High Technology Co., Ltd.'s "Disposable
HB-H-6 Resin Absorption of Bilirubin and Plasma Perfusion Device," were named
among the projects of the 2010 National New Products Program. Tianjin Kerun
Agri-Technology Co., Ltd.'s "Integration and Demonstration of Technology Sets
for Production Chain Extension for Improved Varieties of Cauliflower and
Chinese Cabbage," was named a project of the 2010 Funds for the
Transformation of Agricultural Scientific and Technological Achievements
Program. COFCO Northsea Oils and Grains Industries (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.'s
"Development and Commercialization of Functional, Nutritionally-balanced
Oils," was named a project of the 2010 National Spark Program.
