KNUTSFORD, England, April 14, 2010 - Cheshire-based Terry Lifts - leading UK specialists in disability access
products - is launching its new Harmony range of wider and longer
'through-floor' wheelchair lifts throughout the Spring and Summer months of
2010.

The roll-out programme begins at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre
on April 20-22, when the company will be exhibiting at NAIDEX. This is the
UK's largest disability and rehabilitation event that showcases the latest
products and services to aid independent living.

Terry will follow NAIDEX with a sequence of other marketing initiatives
as the year progresses, to raise awareness of the Harmony brand and the new
range of options. The Harmony lift is the company's flagship product, which
has already established itself as a market-leading addition to Terry's range
of domestic and public access wheelchair lifts.

The new design changes will further enhance the product's appeal in the
rapidly growing market for 'through floor' wheelchair lifts which can be
installed in people's homes.

Terry Lifts Sales & Marketing Director, John McSweeney, explained the
reasoning behind the new product designs:

"As specialists in the field of domestic wheelchair lifts," said John,
"we're always looking for ways to improve the customer experience.

"To make sure our lifts can accommodate all wheelchair sizes - including
the industry standard Category A and B - we've introduced a choice of new
wider and longer Harmony lifts to complement our standard model."

The 'through floor' wheelchair lift concept is ideal for wheelchair users
who want access to both floors of their home. This cuts out the expense of
converting the ground floor into a wheelchair-friendly space - or moving to a
bungalow or ground floor flat.

Harmony 'through-floor' wheelchair lifts can be quickly and easily
installed - usually within two days and across windows or non-load-bearing
walls if necessary - to maximise the space in customers' homes with the
minimum of disruption.

Most importantly, the New Harmony design options are available in
versions which are 150mm wider or 200mm longer than the standard model. An
option is also available that incorporates both increased width and length.

The new designs give users easier access for their own size and type of
wheelchair, whilst the longer and wider variant is the only product on the UK
market which can accommodate all Category B standard wheelchairs.

A state-of-the-art hydraulic drive system delivers smooth and quiet
operation through its remote power unit, whilst the built-in safety system
guards against free-fall of the car.

In addition to the range of proven features which have been developed for
the standard Harmony lift, the new models now include several new and
improved design details:

    - Remote radio wireless controls are installed as standard which means
there is no unsightly surface trunking.

    - Users have full control over lift functions from the car and at both
floor levels. Battery back-up systems take over in the event of a power
      failure.

    - The low floor construction includes a minimal-gradient ramp, making it
easier to enter and leave the lift.

    - Fire test certification (including half-hour fire integrity in floor
and ceiling seals) provides peace of mind in the event of a house fire.

    - The 'Standard' Harmony car is 45mm wider than its predecessor making it
the largest standard model available on the UK market.
