Government, and put on by the administrative committee of the Tianjin
Economic Development Area (TEDA), the Eighth International Mobile Phone
Industry Exhibition and Forum has officially begun at the Binhai
International Convention & Exhibition Center.
The International Mobile Phone Industry Exhibition and Forum, which has
been held for the past seven years without interruption, has established an
international, integrated platform for the exhibition of products,
procurement negotiations, the dissemination of information, and promotional
activities. The exhibition and forum has also successfully established an
excellent reputation for itself in the Binhai New Area's exhibition sector.
The electronic telecommunications industry, for which the mobile phone is the
most recognizable symbol, is one of the mainstays of the Binhai New Area, and
the industry plays an important role in promoting economic development and
technological innovation in the area. The organizers and supporters of this
mobile phone industry exhibition hope that it will generate greater value for
attending and participating enterprises, and also play an even more active
role in promoting the development of the electronic telecommunications
industry, both in the Bohai Economic Circle and the nation at large.
Spread out over an area of more than 20,000 square meters, this year's
exhibition boasts over 600 individual exhibit booths. More than 320
participating exhibitors representing both the retail and production sides of
the industry, as well as over 10,000 attendees, have already confirmed their

Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, as well as Samsung, Motorola, LG,
K-Touch, Yulong, Huawei, and other Chinese and international mobile
telecommunications equipment manufacturers, have come to Binhai to
participate in this electronic information exhibition, which stands out as a
grand event in the Bohai Economic Circle.
At this exhibition, Chinese and international brand-name mobile phone
manufacturers and retailers will show off the latest technology and products,
including new electronic devices such as internet-accessing laptops,
smartphones, mobile internet devices (MID), e-book readers, portable game
players, mobile television devices, and in-vehicle infotainment solutions
(IVI), which exemplify the continuous development and innovation of the
mobile telecommunications industry.
