ATLANTA, September 29, 2011 -
TRX, Inc. (www.trx.com) (OTCQB: TRXI), a world-leading provider of travel technology, process automation, consulting and data services, today announced TRX will participate in the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) Global Education Conference in Paris, France on October 2-4, 2011.
TRX will showcase recently released features of TRAVELTRAX®, a leading suite of data intelligence solutions. Recent enhancements include a robust ancillary fee reporting solution, as well as refreshed components of TRX’s industry-leading Hotel Spend Management product.
The new data enhancement and reporting capabilities of TRAVELTRAX enable travel managers to better identify, track, manage, and leverage their ancillary fee spend. The new reporting features leverage TRX’s proprietary algorithms to identify ancillary fees by category and merchant and to provide a clear picture of a corporation’s true travel spend. By utilizing this actionable intelligence, travel managers will better manage their travel policy, leverage vendor negotiations, and reduce their overall travel and procurement costs. Additional reporting and analytics features include real-time key performance indicator dashboards with predictive analytic capabilities, on-demand supplier goal monitoring, corporate contract analysis, and benchmark reporting.
TRX also recently announced the addition of new services to the industry-leading Hotel Spend Management offering with the inclusion of RFP sourcing, GDS availability, and auditing. Offered in conjunction with technology partner, Lanyon, Inc., a leading provider of content management and spend management solutions to the hospitality industry, the expanded services complement TRX’s existing strategy study, spend analysis, and reporting services to provide corporate travel managers a complete solution for managing hotel spend.
TRX Hotel Spend Management offering provides spend management services to travel and procurement managers, helping to identify, quantify, capture, and track travel-related savings. The rigorous, analytically-driven service consists of four steps designed to provide corporations a turnkey offering to manage hotel spend.
- Hotel Strategy - Utilizes clustering, scenario modeling and other proprietary tools to determine true hotel spend by market, brand, property, and spend category.
- Supplier Sourcing - Provides full-service support through the RFP sourcing including supplier communications, benchmarking rates, and negotiated savings analysis.
- Demand and Supply Compliance - Monitors and audits all GDSs ensuring GDS availability and auditing rates are properly loaded and available for purchase.
- Program Performance - Provides data and analysis needed to ensure a hotel program is successfully used. Data can be segmented by property hotel compliance, spend, savings by company, project, and more.
“These new features provide corporate and travel buyers with a more comprehensive view of their total spend to greatly enhance their effectiveness in contract negotiations with vendors,” said Shane Hammond, President and CEO of TRX. “We invite conference attendees to stop by stand 26 to get a first-hand demonstration of how our ancillary fees reporting capabilities and Hotel Spend Management services will reset and re-shape the industry standard going forward.”
TRX will demonstrate the new TRAVELTRAX enhancements at ACTE stand 26, October 2-4, 2011 in Paris.
