TORONTO, May 13, 2010 - Toronto based recording studio Cherry Beach Sound recently hosted
rapper, songwriter, and television sensation Drake and Young Money
Entertainment in the studio to work on his upcoming project. Also
attending the session was his engineer/producer Noah "40" Shebib.

Drake received two Grammy nominations this year for Best Rap Song:
"Best I Ever Had" and Best Rap Solo Performance: "Best I Ever Had." He also
took home two Juno's at the 2010 Juno Awards for Best New Artist and Rap
Recording of The Year for his debut album, So Far Gone, which was released
in September 2009, and was written and recorded at Cherry Beach Sound. Just
before signing his first record deal, Cherry Beach Sound hosted Drake on
multiple occasions to record the demo that eventually signed him to Young
Money Entertainment. Drake is the second artist to have his first two
singles reach the top ten on Billboard's Hot 100 within the same week.
After debuting at No. 6 on the Billboard 200, So Far Gone became the highest
charting EP in the United States by a Canadian rapper.

Universal Motown, distributor of Thank Me Later, recently announced that
Drake will be releasing his upcoming album, Thank Me Later this June, which
features collaborations with artists such as Lil Wayne, K-OS, Kanye West,
The Dream, Danny! and Jay-Z.
