Black Hat Abu Dhabi Announces Pre-registration and Call for Papers

ABU DHABI, UAE, September 2, 2010 - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) represented
by the UAE Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT), in cooperation with
Khalifa University of Science and Technology with UBM have brought to the
Middle East, Black Hat, recognising the importance of increasing online
security.

Pre-registration for Black Hat is now open and a Call for
Papers has been announced, giving industry professionals the opportunity to
participate in the Black Hat Briefings, a platform designed to fill the need
for computer security professionals to better understand the security risks
to information infrastructures and computer systems. Industry professionals
are invited to submit their presentations along with applications to speak
openly about the problems faced and potential solutions.

The deadline for applications is September 15, 2010.
Interested professionals can submit their material through the official Black
Hat website www.blackhat.com.

Jeff Moss, founder and Managing Director of Black Hat "Amid
growing recognition of the need for advanced IT security we feel the best
people to advise on issued faced and recommended solutions are those that
know it best, by inviting industry experts to submit their ideas we can make
sure that delegates are exposed to high-end technical information revealing
new vulnerabilities and original content."

Black Hat Abu Dhabi will offer a full range of sessions,
including ten training programmes running on 8th and 9th November, followed
by three briefing tracks running simultaneously on 10th and 11th alongside
the exhibition.

With half of the planned delegate spots already booked,
companies, government agencies, associations, academic institutions and
individuals who wish to be involved should contact the organiser UBM Middle
East.

Black Hat Abu Dhabi, will take place from 8th to 11th November
2010
at the Emirates Palace, and will include a wide variety of intensive
technical presentations delivered by the leading thinkers of the information
security world. The event will also provide hands-on, multi-day training
sessions on the latest in IT security trends and techniques, while the Black
Hat Briefings will offer an opportunity for industry experts to share their
experience and knowledge with other professionals.
