ASHBURN, Virginia -

Brainware, Inc., an innovative provider of intelligent data capture (www.brainware.com/data_capture.php) and enterprise search (www.brainware.com/search.php) solutions, today announced that it has entered into an OEM agreement with Oracle whereby Oracle plans to embed the Brainware Distiller(TM) intelligent data capture software into Oracle(R) Imaging and Process Management.

“Organizations are looking for complete, end-to-end document processing automation solutions rather than piecing together multiple point solutions, and this relationship offers one-stop shopping for those companies,” said Melissa Webster, Program Vice President at IDC. “Brainware solutions have been incorporated into Oracle environments since their inception, so this partnership is a natural evolution in the rapidly changing ECM space.”

“There are other vendors who claim to offer competing data capture solutions but Oracle’s selection of our solution further validates our standing as the market leader,” said James Zubok, Chief Financial Officer at Brainware. “This agreement opens up the Distiller technology to Oracle’s customer base and sales organization - a fact that will undoubtedly increase our market penetration.”

Organizations interested in learning more about and viewing the intelligent data capture solution can visit the Brainware booth (#1233 Moscone South) at Oracle OpenWorld through October 15.
