IT management software, has provided car-rental giant Avis Europe plc with a
CA Clarity PPM project and portfolio management solution. The solution is

Within the UK business, Avis Europe is now able to capture a single view
of the company's top-20 product developments, make better investment and
pipeline decisions, while predicting programme dynamics with greater
accuracy. In addition, moving to a matrix management and matching their
available resources to their project workloads has improved processes across
the business.

Rollout of Avis Europe's CA Clarity PPM powered IT Programme Management
Office capability to other major European locations will take place during
the second half of 2010. The company runs operations in Europe, Africa, the
Middle East and Asia under the globally-recognised Avis and Budget brands via
more than 2,800 locations in 109 countries, as well as through wholly-owned
subsidiaries in 13 nations plus franchisees in another 96 countries.
