DENSO at 64th International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt, Germany: Connecting Drivers, Vehicles, and Society

DENSO Corporation will exhibit at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, September 13-25, 2011. The company will use the theme ‘Connecting Drivers, Vehicles, and Society’ to showcase its future and current technologies in the area of environment, safety, and convenience. You can find DENSO in Hall 4.0, booth A04.
With its ground-breaking ‘Resonance 2021′ interactive display, DENSO proves its leading role in the future automotive industry. Visitors get a hands-on demonstration of the advanced systems that connects drivers, vehicles, and the society.
Also on display will be DENSO’s world-leading carbon dioxide-reducing technologies such as a state-of-the-art starter for start/stop systems and an inverter for hybrid vehicles. In addition, as one of the largest mass-manufacturers of Common-Rail Diesel systems, DENSO will show a new injection control system, i-ART (intelligent-Accuracy Refinement Technology).
This fiscal year, DENSO plans to allocate € 2.56 billion, approximately 9 percent of its consolidated global sales forecast into research and development. To further accelerate its R&D capability worldwide, DENSO has increased the design and testing facilities at its engineering centre in Wegberg, Germany, and is establishing technical centres in India and Brazil. The company has also established technical centres in the United States, China, and Thailand and aims to promote the collaboration among the technical and engineering centres to realize more advanced technology while meeting each market’s needs.
