- Anette Schaefer to Lead new German Practice

Farncombe Consulting Group, the privately-held European TV services consultancy, has appointed the highly-regarded industry consultant Anette Schaefer to run its new German practice, which opened for business today in Dusseldorf.

Anette will leverage the experience and expertise of Farncombe’s UK and French businesses, building up a new locally-informed German-language operation through which to offer all of the Group’s existing practices - including Strategy, Technology Consulting, Programme Management, Content Security, System Integration, Engineering Services, Test & Certification and user experience design.

Farncombe co-founder Andrew Glasspool said, “With Anette heading up our Dusseldorf office, our German clients will now benefit from having on-the-ground help and support directly to hand across our entire range of services, bolstered by local skills and knowledge. It’s great that Farncombe now has someone as capable and experienced as Anette heading up our operations there.”

Before joining Farncombe, Anette was a Principal at Greenwich Consulting in Dusseldorf, and worked previously with the Yankee Group, where as director of the Broadband & Media EMEA Decision Service, she managed all research and consulting.

Prior to Yankee, she worked for 15 years as a management consultant in the United States and Europe, and is fluent in both German and English.
