LONDON, February 2, 2011 - Merchenta, a provider of online merchandising solutions to
retailers, announced today the launch of its distributed social commerce
"popup stores". Merchenta enables retailers to "bring the store to the
consumer" across social, display and affiliate networks.
Using Merchenta, retailers can deploy thousands of branded
MiniStores in standard IAB-compliant display units to compliment a
traditional ecommerce website. When a consumer engages with the MiniStore, it
unfurls to offer a range of ecommerce capabilities including personalized
product recommendations, social sharing (via Facebook, Twitter or email) and
