iPads in Dissection Labs and Lecture Halls are Increasingly Common Sights in Medical Schools as Students Begin Their Fall Semesters

Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, announced today the Netter’s Anatomy Atlas App for iPad is now available on the App Store. Based on the world-renowned medical artwork of Dr. Frank H. “Imagine carrying an interactive authoritative guide on human anatomy wherever you go that allows you to study, quiz yourself and take notes on the fly!” said John T. Hansen, PhD, Associate Dean and Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center and lead Editor of the Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy, 5th edition. “No one does it better than Netter and his brilliant color illustrations literally ‘jump’ off the iPad screen with a luminescence that is unsurpassed. Test drive this App and you’ll open a whole new world of anatomical knowledge with just the tap or swipe of your finger tip.”
