LONDON, September 17, 2010 - Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) Europe-based air traffic

multi-million dollar contract by the African air navigation safety agency
Agence pour la Securite de la Navigation Aerienne en Afrique et a Madagascar

Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems proposed their Normarc 7000B instrument

industry participated. ASECNA is a world-leading agency for air navigation
security and selected the Normarc 7000B ILS for its unparalleled performance

service throughout the continent.
The ILS will be installed and commissioned by French partner company GTIE
Air & Defense of the Vinci Group on a turnkey basis. The systems will be
installed and commissioned over a five-year period at 13 different airports
and sites in Africa.
"We look forward to continuing our working relationship with ASECNA and
to upgrading the instrument landing systems across Africa," said Eldar Hauge,
managing director of Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems in Norway.
