LONDON, October 6, 2010 - Positive Digital (www.positive-digital.co.uk), one of the UK's
fastest-growing digital marketing agencies, has collected two prestigious
accolades at the Travolution Awards 2010.
The company was named both 'Best Agency for Website Design' for Royal
Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises, and the creator of 'Best
Online/Desktop Application' for Royal Caribbean International's Cruise
Compass, an animated desktop widget that allows the cruise company to
communicate key messaging to their trade partners in real-time.
Hosted by Jeremy Vine and supported by Calum Best and Elle Macpherson,
the Travolution Awards represent the UK travel industry's highest accolade
for innovations and excellence online. Held at The Boiler House, Battersea
Power Station on September 28th, the ceremony celebrated the companies,
brands and individuals who have excelled in online travel distribution,
digital marketing and technology during 2010.
Menno Faulkner, Account Director at Positive Digital said: "To win not
one but both of the Travolution Awards that Positive Digital was entered for,
including Best Agency for Website Design, is a remarkable achievement. We are
delighted both to be working with Royal Caribbean on their fantastic brands
and to be gaining these accolades for innovation, creativity and technical
delivery".
Jo Briody of Royal Caribbean International added: "For Positive Digital
and our marketing teams to win the two awards is a true accolade for
innovation and design in our marketing delivery to match our product
delivery".
The Travolution Awards double follows hot on the heels of another
Positive Digital/Royal Caribbean triumph at the recent Travel Marketing
Awards, where the Cruise Compass was named 'Most Innovative Marketing 2010'.
