Recession Loosens Grip on Oil and Gas
By World Finance, PRNEThursday, October 21, 2010
LONDON, October 22, 2010 - The last year has been a period of intense scrutiny for the oil and gas
industry because of an increasingly environment-conscious public and, of
course, the prominence of the BP oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico and the
Timor Sea. However the oil and gas industry will play a critical role in
driving the global economy for the foreseeable future, and given the
industry's ability to innovate, there is no reason why it will not continue
to be a major contributor to the economy of the future.
Congratulations to those companies recognised for their valuable
contributions.
