DENVER -
The MotorSport Country Club of Colorado (MSCC) www.MotorSportCC.com has completed the final resort master plan and track engineering for the largest motorsport country club and luxury destination resort in the world. The 2600-acre project is designed by famous racetrack architect Hermann Tilke and includes four racetrack circuits, an off-road course, The Race Club, a luxury Private Residence Club, estate lots and equestrian center.
“We are thrilled with the final plans,” said MSCC developer and CEO Claus Wagner. “Hermann and his team exceeded our expectations and our members and investment partners will be equally impressed. He created the perfect blend of speed, luxury and great resort design.”
The Tilke name is synonymous with elite racetrack design with credits including F-1 circuits in Bahrain, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi. His newly completed design brings MSCC one step closer to its ground breaking.
“I have had the opportunity to create numerous Formula-1 race tracks in my career,” said Tilke. “But this racetrack circuit is going to set a new standard for the future of motorsport clubs and resorts around the world.”
The Race Club is positioned where all four tracks converge, with panoramic views of the entire resort. The trackside garage, pit lounges, professional paddock and driving school are located on the ground floor. The upper floor features restaurants, bars, private lounges and locker rooms. The Residence Club is located on a plateau on the resort’s highest point, with views of the racetrack circuit and the Rocky Mountains. The Residence Club features luxury suites, a gourmet restaurant, a fitness club and spa, and an outside pool and deck.
Tilke’s design at MSCC will make Colorado home to the most extensive and diverse Formula-1 and MotoGP-caliber tracks in the world, offering over eight miles of premium racing surface. The updated racetrack design includes a 7,000-foot straightaway that doubles as a private jet runway.
“Our goal is to create the ultimate motorsport experience for those who like to challenge themselves on and off the track,” stated Gary De Bay, President, CMO of MSCC and founder of EXPLOR Ventures. “Based on EXPLOR’s work with Nike Ventures, BMW Designworks, Exclusive Resorts, GE ecomagination and Renewable Choice Energy, we plan to use on-site solar, wind and geothermal technologies to power our resort and create the world’s first carbon neutral motorsport resort.”
