Acision to Deliver Rich SMS, MMS and Enterprise Messaging to Telefonica's Mobile Users Across Latin America

BARCELONA, Spain, February 14, 2011 - Acision, a world leader in mobile data, today announced it will deploy a
comprehensive open services architecture at Telefonica Latin America. Acision
will roll out its messaging infrastructure including SMS, MMS and Enterprise
Messaging, to address the growing demand for richer messaging services in the
region. By working with Acision, Telefonica Latin America, which forms part
of the Telefonica Group - one of the largest telecommunications companies in
the world - will benefit from better time to market of new, differentiated
messaging services as well as increasing the efficiency of its messaging
infrastructure.

The Latin American market continues to show significant growth in mobile
messaging, which is driving demand for new services tailored for specific
market segments such as enterprises. The partnership with Acision will enable
Telefonica Latin America to deliver next generation messaging services to its
consumer and business users, providing additional value, personalisation,
flexibility and productivity. Acision's messaging solution will consist of
the Acision SMSC, Acision MMSC, Acision Application Gateway and Acision
Enterprise Messaging. These solutions will enable Telefonica to leverage
their existing network assets and quickly bring to market a wide range of
rich messaging services and applications, packaged around individual users
and businesses.

Emilio Gayo, Head of Strategy and Business Development, at Telefonica
Latinoamerica, said: "By working with Acision, the global leader in
messaging, we now have access to the most advanced set of messaging services
on the market which will help us grow and support our already large user
community. Working closely with such a reliable supplier for our messaging
requirements means we can consolidate our infrastructure efficiently and
evolve our messaging services. This will enable Telefonica to provide an
enhanced messaging experience and meet customer demands. This will clearly
differentiate Telefonica in the highly competitive Latin American messaging
market and again highlights our commitment to bringing the very latest
services to market over the next years."

Felix Gonzalez Quesada, Vice President for Telefonica/O2 and Global
Business Head at Acision, said, "Having sustained a trusted relationship with
Telefonica for more than ten years, this contract is further acknowledgement
that our messaging solutions are the most advanced in the market. By
integrating our messaging infrastructure, Telefonica will now be able to
deploy a wider range of reliable services for both the consumer and business
market, increasing customer loyalty and driving up revenues."

"This agreement demonstrates Telefonica's long-term commitment to
delivering high-value messaging services to the Latin American market,
setting it apart from other players in the region. It also drives up our
share and success in MMS, as more operators across the globe install the
Acision MMSC to underpin their multimedia messaging services, bringing the
number of new customer wins/replacements to over 20 in the past two years,"
concluded Rafael Steinhauser, Senior Vice President and General Manager for
Acision Latin America.
