BEIJING, June 24, 2011 -
During the recent air show in Paris, Air China was awarded the
4-star rating by SKYTRAX on June 22 after auditing 635 items under
17 categories of Air China’s service. Currently, Air China operates
a fleet of 400 aircraft on 280 routes, serving over 31 countries
and regions with over 1,400 flights per day.
CNAH Holding GM and Air China Chairman Kong Dong received the
award on behalf of Air China.
Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a Star
Alliance member. In addition to commercial operations, it also
provides special flight services for the country’s state leaders on
official visit to other countries. With a fleet of 280 Airbus and
Boeing aircraft (including 266 passenger airliners and 9
freighters), 1 training plane and 4 business jets, we run 280
routes - 69 international, 13 regional, and 184 domestic - serving
a total of 137 cities, including 42 international, 3 regional and
92 domestic, in 29 countries and regions. We offer over 6,900
flights with over 1,000,000 seats every week.
