European Handball Champions Engage and Grow Fan-Base With Globalpark Online Community

COLOGNE, Germany, July 14, 2010 - European Handball Club 2010 Champions VfL Gummersbach rely on Globalpark

Together they have built an online community, accessible at
www.My-VfL.de that encourages fans to get involved with game and
promotion planning, and helps the ball club test and launch marketing
campaigns.

The online community has engaged fans through surveys, chat, virtual
gatherings, and weekly newsletters since the summer of 2009. It also
encourages user-generated content - videos and diaries - and uses co-creation
techniques to develop, and execute, new fan chants, banners and t-shirts.
