G-20: Toronto Mayor David Miller Welcomes the World's Media to Toronto

TORONTO, June 22, 2010 - Toronto Mayor David Miller will hold a news conference to welcome the
world's media to the city.

Mayor Miller will be joined at the news conference by:

     Mr. Joseph P. Pennachetti, City Manager, City of Toronto
     Mr. Renato Discenza, Chief Executive Officer, Invest Toronto
     Mr. David Whitaker, President and Chief Executive Officer, Tourism
     Toronto

The Mayor, Mr. Pennachetti, Mr. Discenza and Mr. Whitaker will make
remarks and take questions from media at the news conference and be
available for one-on-one interviews following the formal news conference.

     DATE:   Thursday, June 24, 2010
     TIME:   10 a.m.
     WHERE:  G-20 International Media Centre located in the
             Direct Energy Centre, Briefing Theatre 1
     NOTE:   Summit media accreditation is required to attend the event.

The host broadcaster will carry this event and television stations
should make the appropriate arrangements at the centre to pick-up the feed.
