AMSTERDAM, September 8, 2011 -
Sapphire Edge and the upcoming Sapphire v6 leverage the powerful GenArts Solution to bring high-quality visual effects to all video creators
GenArts Inc., the global leader in visual effects (VFX) software for the media and advertising industries, will showcase its new visual effects solution designed to help editors and videographers of all levels create more engaging content in less time and under constrained budgets. This GenArts Solution™ combines the powerful Sapphire effects engine, trusted by the film, broadcast and advertising industries for past 15 years, with its new online looks portfolio and analytics to equip creators with a complete set of tools that are proven to help produce better performing content. GenArts will demonstrate two innovative products built on this solution - new Sapphire Edge and the soon-to-be-released Sapphire v6 - at IBC 2011 in Amsterdam.
Sapphire Edge is the first product to leverage the full GenArts Solution and make studio-quality looks accessible to videographers without the steep learning curve or the need to compromise quality for cost. Only new Sapphire Edge lets video creators start with the look - browse over 350 included looks or download new ones monthly with the included subscription to FX Central. Sapphire Edge will be demonstrated during IBC at the GenArts booth, the Sony Professional booths, and featured at the Amsterdam SuperMeet on 11 September.
Sapphire Edge Feature Highlights:
- Innovative, real-time visual Looks Browser
- Visually browse over 350 pre-built native looks
- Easy-to-use design sliders
- Affordably priced at $299
- Available on Apple Final Cut Pro and Sony Vegas Pro
GenArts will also “sneak peek” the latest version of its cutting-edge effects tool Sapphire, which is scheduled to launch this month. Sapphire v6 has been completely revamped to include new effects and transitions, hundreds of included presets - expandable by an FX Central subscription - and a comprehensive Flare Designer so visual effect artists can customize their work by adjusting individual flare elements. The newest version of Sapphire will be featured at the GenArts and The Foundry booths.
Visit GenArts during IBC at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre from 8-13 September: Stand 7.J15d, Hall 7.
