JOHANNESBURG, January 11, 2011 - "Survey findings of the 2010 State of Global People Management research,
released by Massachusetts-based international people management software
company Softscape, reveals that organisations that integrate talent
processes, systems and data on performance, succession planning,
compensation, learning & development and recruitment have outperformed those
organisations that have yet to integrate by 41%," reveals Leon Mouton,
Director of the Leadership Academy at Nelson Mandela Business School.

At the same time, in Africa's accelerating business climate, executives
have set their sights on HR integration to revolutionalise the traditional HR
function to become a strategic component in driving profitability. As
companies are gearing towards selecting and implementing specialised
solutions, industry experts from AngloGold Ashanti, Standard Bank, Vodacom,
SNC Lavalin, Safal Group, Nestle and Du Pont will be gathering at the HR
Technology Africa conference to discuss how to make the most of the current
versatility and depth of technology available today.

Facilitated by Hatem El Houshy, HR Advisor at SNC Lavalin, the conference
will examine solutions and strategies to help organisations align IT with HR
transformation strategy. Paul Hatch, Manager for Global HR Systems at
AngloGold Ashanti will present a case for implementing a global HR
Information System (HRIS) to deal with a continuously growing global
workforce. As conference Chairman, El Houshy will deliver a practical insight
to creating a value driven business case for efficient HR transformation and
project life-cycle planning and implementation. The second workshop will
address the more niche and highly topical Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)
opportunities presented by globalisation.

HR Technology Africa will take place between 11-14 April 2011 in
Johannesburg, Sandton Sun, South Africa.
