Kazkommertsbank Takes the Lead in Mobile Banking With Misys Mobile

LONDON, October 11, 2010 - Misys plc (LSE: MSY), the global application software and
services company, today announced that Kazkommertsbank, the largest bank in
Kazakhstan and one of the largest private banks in the CIS, has selected
Misys Mobile to create a highly effective next-generation mobile banking
service for its retail and corporate customers.

Misys Mobile is the leading next-generation mobile banking
solution, powered by technology used in eight of the top 12 North American
banks. Kazkommertsbank will use Misys Mobile to deliver mobile banking
services via a broad range of channels, including smart phone apps,
SMS/messaging and mobile web browsers. Customers will be able to select any
of these ways of interacting with Kazkommertsbank, depending on what suits
them best. They can also set up a range of SMS or messaging alerts to help
them manage their money and protect their accounts from fraud more
effectively. What makes this solution different is that Kazkommertsbank
customers can now engage in SMS or other ways of conversation with their
bank, rather than being limited to receiving one-way alerts.

World-wide mobile banking usage is set to double over the next
three years. According to Juniper Research, banks will be delivering mobile
services to over 400 million customers by 2013, with already around 80 per
cent of banks across the world offering some form of mobile banking. Banks
that can offer their customers something that differentiates them from their
competitors that will gain most from this growth.
