Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation Recognized by American Academy of Underwater Sciences

The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation has been accepted into the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) as an Organizational Member. The Foundation is dedicated to ocean conservation through scientific research and membership of the Academy affirms that the Foundation conducts its underwater surveys in a manner consistent with the highest standards of scientific diving.
The mission of AAUS is to facilitate the development of safe and productive scientific divers through education, research, advocacy, and the advancement of standards for scientific diving practices, certifications and operations. President of AAUS, Christian McDonald, said, “On behalf of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences I wish to extend our welcome and congratulations to the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation.” He continued, “We look forward to your many years of active involvement within the AAUS. The strength and true value of the Academy resides with the expertise of our organizational membership.”
