LONDON, March 31, 2010 - It's a first for the North. Voters are being given the chance to see and
hear their prospective parliamentary MPs (PPC's) thanks to the UK's number
one video communications company Winkball.
The 2010 campaign is being hailed as the North of England's first on-line
election and the most eagerly anticipated in decades. Winkball are embracing
this grass roots enthusiasm and interviewing all the candidates in the North
giving them the chance to record and upload bite sized video manifestos.
Dozens have already turned to Winkball.com and are actively on the site
urging the public to vote for them;

Winkball say they're bringing canvassing into the 21st century- via their
initiative ' Do you know who you are voting for'. Winkball co-founder Dr
James Ohene-Djan says " Campaigning has never been this exciting and the
electorate in the North has never seemingly been so interested in politics.
This is truly an on- line election and gives voters an amazing insight into
so many prospective parliamentary candidates. We are aiming to interview and
feature as many PPCs as possible on Winkball.com.
