BENGALURU, India, May 30, 2011 -

HR technology has been evolving globally and the need for a
unifying HR system in India has not been greater than now. A high profile
professional summit set to feel the pulse of the nation's HR community is HR
Technology India 2011, taking place in Bengaluru at The Chancery Pavilion
from 4 to 6 July, 2011.

In a recently conducted HR survey by IQPC, 61.9% of
respondents have marked talent acquisition and management as the top
challenge closely followed by integrating business process with technology.
HR professionals in India are waiting for the advent of a comprehensive and
user-friendly system to handle the different HR activities as well as manage
a large workforce.

The number of international companies setting base in India is
on an all-time rise and it is essential for the country to adapt to global HR
standards. The shift from traditional HR practises is a necessity which has
to be welcomed both by employers and employees.

The HR community of the nation is experimenting with different
kinds of software to tackle important HR issues such as: acquire and retain
talent, manage performance and appraisal, calculate compensation benefits,
manage HR metrics as well as plan workforce and succession. It is important
to understand that different organizations have unique requirements and
one-size-does not-fit-all when it comes to company specific HR technology.

The HR fraternity is keen to cash in on mobile based
applications and social media to attract new talent and engage employees.
Social media is still to be utilised to its full potential by HR
professionals as well as other employees, for which a proper understanding of
this resource is essential. An exclusive panel discussion has been scheduled
during the summit to discuss the role of social media in recruitment and
employee training.

HR Technology India 2011 will feature pioneers in HR functions
and technology from leading companies in the region such as; UB Group
(Kingfisher), Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vodafone India, MTS India and Bharti
Airtel. The agenda includes presentations on core HR functions like
recruitment, payroll management, learning & development, compensation,
workforce planning, performance management, talent management, succession
planning, and more. Further information about the summit is available at
