Savvis Appoints Managing Director for North Asia

Mark Smith to Lead Expansion with an Eye toward the Cloud
TOKYO, March 10, 2010 - Savvis, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVVS), a global leader in cloud infrastructure and
hosted IT solutions for enterprises, today announced the appointment of Mark
Smith as its new managing director for North Asia, which includes Hong Kong,
China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

Based in Tokyo, Smith will be responsible for driving Savvis' cloud
offering and its IT infrastructure services across the region. This includes
leading the Savvis team in support of the relationship with Thomson Reuters
throughout all Asian markets, including opportunities related to the Thomson
Reuters Hosting Solution.
Prior to joining Savvis, Smith served as president and as a senior
company officer for Thomson Reuters in Tokyo, where he was responsible for
leading all sales and service functions in Japan. He previously held senior
global and regional roles at Reuters, Bridge Internet Solutions, Bridge
Information Systems and Sungard, where he was responsible for expanding sales
and services growth across Asia Pacific.
