LONDON, August 12, 2010 - Recognising the enormous contributions made by its partners, retailers,
consumers and community globally, TOMS Shoes will place its One Millionth
pair of new shoes on a child in need this September in Argentina.

TOMS Shoes was founded in 2006, when American traveller Blake Mycoskie
befriended children in a village in Argentina and found they had no shoes to
protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that
would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a
child in need. One for One. Four years later, with the help of giving
partners and volunteers around the world, TOMS will return to Argentina for a
very special Shoe Drop in the place where the idea for the company was first
born.

"We are so thankful for the opportunity to celebrate this special moment
in TOMS' history with those people and partners who have given us so much
support," said Mycoskie. "When we started, I never would have dreamed that we
would've arrived at this landmark so quickly. This is just the beginning,
however. We still have so much to do to make sure that we continue to give to
children around the world in a responsible and sustainable way."

Reaching the one millionth pair benchmark underscores TOMS Shoes
commitment to sustainable giving through its One for One business model,
which has inspired a global movement. As a proven, socially-conscious
entrepreneurial concept, TOMS has served as an innovative leader for
businesses worldwide. Since the company's inception, partners, retailers and
consumers have proven to be extremely passionate and loyal in their support
of the company's unique mission.

Santa Monica-based TOMS is planning a public event in Los Angeles, which
will be held in late September following the Shoe Drop in Argentina, giving
TOMS the opportunity to continue to celebrate and give thanks to those who
have directly contributed to this accomplishment.

Since launching in the UK in 2008, TOMS Shoes has grown exponentially. UK
stockists now include TopShop, Office, Schuh, Poste Mistress, Natural Shoe
Store, and Harrods.
