Viktor Yanukovych to Attend the 40th World Economic Forum in Davos

KIEV, Ukraine, January 27, 2011 - President of Ukraine will attend the 40th annual meeting of the
World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, on January 27-28.
This year's WEF meeting, themed "common rules for new reality", is expected to
outline new models of interaction that can contribute to overcoming
differences between the centers of the multipolar world, and provide a
comprehensive growth of investments.

According to Serhiy Liovochkin, the head of the Presidential
administration, on January 27 Viktor Yanukovych will take part in online
discussions entitled, "From Austria to Central Asia: trends in investment and
competitiveness in the next decade", hosted by the Austrian government and the
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

On January 28th, Victor Yanukovych together with
Bronislaw Komorowski will participate in the 7th Davos Ukrainian Lunch and
discuss the role of EURO 2012 in the development of Ukraine and Poland.

Ukrainian leader will also attend a European Energy
Future session, where he is planning to discuss the importance and relevance
of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant issues, including proper implementation
of the Chernobyl Projects, highlighting a number of events planned for this
spring in Kiev, particularly a high-level International Conference -
"Twenty-five years after the Chernobyl disaster. Security of the Future."

Liovochkin said that while in Davos the Ukrainian
Presidentplans to meet with President of Azerbaijan Aliyev, President of
Poland Komorowski, UN Secretary General Ki-moon, and EBRD President Mirow.

"The most decisive success factors on the global, national and
business level will be the ability to anticipate manage and mitigate risks",
said the founder of the Forum Klaus Schwab in his interview to the Economist.
Klaus Schwab stressed, that this year will be a decisive year. Therefore, the
participation of Viktor Yanukovych in the anniversary World Economic Forum is
more meaningful and significant than ever both for Ukraine and the Forum.

For four decades, this annual meeting has provided leaders
from industry, government, academia, civil society and the media with an
unrivalled platform to shape the global agenda and catalyse solutions at the
start of each year.
