Bluestar Silicones provides technical solutions in order to improve solar
energy systems and ensure renewable energy is used more intensively in the
near future.
A complementary and essential range of products for Solar Module
manufacturing has been designed providing cost effectiveness, increased
durability and improved performance at the best price for solar energy,
opening the possibility of joint development of specific solutions (new
solutions and implementation on industrial lines) for our customers.
Bluestar Silicones new range of silicone products increase the efficiency
and durability of solar modules by extending their resistance to weather
ageing under conditions where performance must be constant for at least 25
years!
The high performance Bluestar Silicones CAF(R) 530 adhesive:
- guarantees long term bonding and sealing of the solar module providing long-term protection of the photovoltaic cells and connections against humidity, the main cause of efficiency reduction in modules over time. - brings a very high degree of elasticity, to resist and absorb differential expansions of the assembled materials - delivers reliable, long-term adhesion between the junction box and the back sheet panel of the solar module.
Yves Giraud, Global Market Manager for Solar Markets would like to
stress: "Bluestar Silicones is very happy to participate in the 25th European
Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (25th EU PVSEC) in
Valencia. With 30 years of expertise dedicated to industrial customers, the
outstanding bonding properties of our silicone adhesives on a wide variety of
substrates (glass, metal and plastics) and competitive cost, Bluestar
Silicones has the right offer for the solar energy manufacturers."
