Search for Europe’s best radio and TV programmes as well as webpages on the theme of integration and cultural diversity
CIVIS - Europe’s Media Prize for Integration and Cultural Diversity is looking for radio and television programmes as well as journalistic Internet offers, which handle the themes of integration and cultural diversity in Europe in a convincing fashion.
The European CIVIS Media Prize 2012 is endowed with a total of 40,000 Euros. All radio and TV broadcasting companies as well as web suppliers in the European Union and Switzerland can take part. The deadline for entries is January 20, 2012.
For over two decades CIVIS has been recognizing programme contributions on radio, television and in the Internet which promote the peaceful coexistence of people of the most varied national, ethnic, religious or cultural origins.
The CIVIS Media Prize 2012 will be awarded as European and TV Prize and European Radio Prize for German language programmes. With the “Young CIVIS Media Prize” there will once again also be a European sponsorship prize. The “CIVIS Online Media Prize” will offer an additional award for journalistically-designed webpages on the theme of integration and cultural diversity.
Together for integration and cultural diversity - against racism and xenophobia!
