LOS ANGELES - Metro Public Relations announces the inaugural Celebrity Nobles Humanitarian Awards, to be held on October 18th, 2009, in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. An unprecedented humanitarian recognition event, the night will honor philanthropic organizations and the celebrities that make considerable contributions to them. The show will feature live musical acts, Hollywood’s most active charity supporters, and provide an international platform to bring awareness about non-profits and their causes to the greater public.
“The NOBLES are about honoring the work of philanthropic organizations and the celebrities who truly believe and care about humanitarian causes,” says Janeen Mansour, founder of Celebrity Nobles. “Many celebrities work hard to provide awareness for a cause about which they are passionate. This event will create additional exposure for the incredible non-profits.”
Fifteen non-profits will be highlighted. Committed organizations include: Make-A-Wish Foundation, Keep A Child Alive, American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, American Heart Association, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Epilepsy Foundation. The participating organizations will honor their high profile supporters with the NOBLE award. Further announcement of additional non-profits and celebrity honorees will be released leading up to the event.
“The desire to spread positive messages globally through entertainment, possibly the most influential medium on Earth, has kept me in Los Angeles,” explains Tess Finkle, President of Metro Public Relations. “Our country received a call to service from its President, and I am honored to do my part by putting together an unparalleled union of celebrity visibility and philanthropic initiatives.”
