Herbert Mai's Term as Fraport AG Executive Board Member Extended

FRANKFURT, September 28, 2010 - In its meeting on September 27, 2010, the Fraport AG
supervisory board approved the extension of Herbert Mai's term as a member of
the company's executive board responsible for labor relations. The
supervisory board also authorized supervisory board chairman and former Hesse
minister of finance Karlheinz Weimar to renew Herbert Mai's contract
effective April 1, 2011, without any changes. "With Herbert Mai, Fraport AG
retains the prudence and expertise of an experienced labor director. We are
pleased to extend his contract term until he reaches age 65," said Weimar.
Herbert Mai has been a member of the Fraport AG executive
board since April 2001. In his capacity as executive director labor
relations, Mai is responsible for Fraport's Retail and Properties strategic
business unit as well as for two service units: Sustainability Management and
Corporate Compliance; and Human Resources. Prior to his appointment to the
executive board, Herbert Mai served as national chairman of the German ÖTV
(public service and transport workers) union from 1995 to 2000 and in 1996
was also elected president of the European Association of Public Service
Unions (EGÖD).
