Partners Can Integrate MobileIron's Mobile Device Management, Security and Analytics Capabilities with Other Enterprise Systems and Build New Services

MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, September 9, 2010 - MobileIron (www.mobileiron.com), the innovator in multi-OS
smartphone management, today announced the release of its Virtual Smartphone
Platform 3.0. The new release focuses on partner enablement and delivers a
Mobility API for channel partners to integrate MobileIron data and actions
with other enterprise systems and build their own applications for mobile
device management, security and analytics. MobileIron 3.0 also includes a
number of features designed to streamline the workflow and lifecycle
management of enterprise smartphones.

"MobileIron 3.0 represents a new phase of enterprise mobility," said Bob
Tinker
, CEO of MobileIron. "Our customers and partners can now use our
platform to extend their mobile service offerings. Unlike legacy device
management companies, we are uniquely positioned to be able to deliver this
functionality through our virtual data architecture, which provides
visibility into the data, apps, and activities of a smartphone and lends
itself naturally to broader applications."

As mobile devices become widely used computing platforms, enterprises
have an ever-expanding need to manage and secure corporate assets on these
devices, including the ability to:

    - Trigger MobileIron device management actions from other enterprise
      systems
    - Build mobile security services based on MobileIron's rich set of
device, behavior, and app compliance data
    - Create new analytical tools for understanding the real-time activity
and service quality experience of end-users

The Mobility API was also designed to ensure that partners can add
additional services they may need in the future, such as telecom expense
management, location-based applications, and business intelligence,
effectively future-proofing their MobileIron investment.

"The MobileIron Mobility API allowed us to significantly extend our
solution suite to encompass Mobile Device Management (MDM) in a timely and
economical manner. This allowed us to extend our value proposition with very
little resource investment," said Larry Foster, President of PINNACLE.
"MobileIron has been a great collaboration partner who is willing to work
together to innovate new solutions. When we looked at the alternatives,
including internal development, we resolved that MobileIron was the clear
choice to help us create and sustain leading MDM capabilities."

"The channel has always been a key component of our business strategy
and, as our partners have recognized the size of the opportunity, we've seen
a huge increase in demand," Tinker continued. "In release 3.0 we focused on
building features to help our partners create new services to meet the needs
of their customers."

    MobileIron 3.0 also features:

    - BlackBerry Enterprise Server integration for zero-touch client
deployment as well as the ability to distribute BES policies and
service books and remotely lock and wipe devices
    - New end-user controls that balance security and privacy; for example,
an end-user can use remote GPS through MobileIron to find a lost
phone, but IT can only access approximate location
    - Enhanced workflow with policy prioritization as well as a closed loop
      policy for provisioning and reporting
