NEW ORLEANS, June 22, 2010 - Hornbeck Offshore Services, the Chouest Entities, and the Bollinger
Entities have prevailed in their challenge to the federal government
moratorium on deep water drilling. The Plaintiffs brought their challenge
based on their belief that the moratorium is not consistent with the law, and
they appreciate that Judge Martin Feldman not only gave them an expedited
hearing, but also rendered an opinion that reflects careful analysis and full
consideration of the law.

The Plaintiffs were represented by Carl D. Rosenblum, Alida C. Hainkel,
Grady S. Hurley, and Marjorie A. McKeithen, as well as other members of the
Jones Walker law firm, and John Cooney of the Venable firm in Washington,
D.C.
The White House has indicated it plans an immediate appeal to the
ruling.
