Olivia Varley and Maura Gallotti Bolster Recruitment, Retention and Training
DUBLIN, December 14, 2010 - Populis has today announced the appointments of two key members of its
growing management team, strengthening the human resources function to
support its continued growth and expansion across all European markets

Bringing two highly qualified HR professionals to the Populis team has
significantly boosted the recruitment process and reinforced the attention
for people at Europe's fastest growing digital media company, leader in the
production of multilingual content on demand.
Heading up the HR operations in Ireland is Olivia Varley. With over 10
years experience of executing strategic change and transactional delivery
within complex business environments, Olivia brings a wealth of human
resource experience to the Populis HQ in Dublin. Previously HR Business
Partner at Hewlett Packard, Olivia project managed teams on business critical
HR operations and was solely responsible for the HR function of 4 business
groups comprising of 600 employees, across Ireland and Europe, reporting into
the European HR Director.
Managing the day to day HR functions including employee relations,
performance management, talent management and reporting metrics, Olivia
successfully completed pan European projects against tight deadlines.
Olivia also held HR roles in Symantec and the Institute of Chartered
Accountants. She graduated from the National College of Ireland with a BA in
Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management.
Supporting the ongoing recruitment, retention, training and development
of key staff in Italy, Maura Gallotti has been appointed as HR Manager of the
Rome office. Bringing over 8 years of Human Resource expertise to the team,
Maura has extensive experience in the search, selection and staff retention
programs for large corporations. Previously Head of Recruitment for
Autostrade per l'Italia SpA, she was responsible for the national and
international recruiting process for the company as well as development
programs and external relations with key partners, including Italian top
universities.
Maura has also held key HR positions at MBDA Italia SpA - an
international joint venture of Gruppo Finmeccanica, with a strong focus on
training and development. With a particularly strong focus on continued
professional development, Maura graduated from the Università Orientale in
Napoli with a degree in International Science and Diplomatic Relations and
furthered her studies with a Masters in Human Resources at the prestigious
Italian media company Il Sole 24 Ore as well as courses and certifications on
HR main topics run by famous business schools.
