Prime Minister Gordon Brown Shows his Support for the Forces

LONDON, February 25, 2010 - The Prime Minister, Gordon Brown has become the latest high profile
figure to voice his goodwill message to UK troops stationed abroad via the
UK's fastest growing video messaging website WinkBall.com.

The faces for the Forces campaign aims to collect a million messages of
support for the troops serving in Afghanistan. Showing his support for the
troops Mr. Brown said: "Knowing that the whole country is behind them
wherever they serve means a lot to our troops and 'Faces for the Forces' is
an excellent way for all of us to demonstrate that support."

The campaign now has the support of all three major party leaders.
Showing his support for the troops Mr Clegg says 'Thank you. Your courage,
your bravery, your sacrifice is immensely important to us. You do work of
unimaginable difficulty which keeps people at home safe."

Meanwhile David Cameron recorded a video Christmas message for the
13,000* members of the armed forces who were away from home over the festive
season.. Cameron said "I'm particularly thinking of those of you out there
over Christmas and wish you a safe return to your families soon."

The politicians join a host of celebrities and personalities who have
already left a goodwill message for the forces on WinkBall.com .

Interest in the campaign has gone Stateside with a US launch in New York
at the world famous Tea and Sympathy store where New Yorkers and celebrities
