ROMSEY, England, June 9, 2011 -

Roke Manor Research today launches 'Aquila', the world's most advanced
content inspection probe for lawful intercept and cyber defence.

Aquila is the first probe with a 100Gbps architecture, making it the only
one to offer seamless scalability from 10Gbps to the latest 40Gbps and
100Gbps speeds. This gives law enforcement a cost-effective route to
intercept standard 10Gbps internet links, as well as the ability to handle
the very latest high-speed interfaces.

Aquila's patented search technology has the highest density data
processing capability on the market, with less than half the footprint of
comparable platforms. Increased processing density and built-in scalability
up to 100Gbps reduces the whole life costs through times of uncertainty and
expansion.

Aquila's technology firsts include:

Only probe designed to inspect 100 per cent of content 100 per cent of
the time. Aquila ensures that no vital data patterns are missed. Only
appliance scaling to meet future network speed and application processing
demands, protecting investment as data speeds evolve. Aquila scales from
10Gbps to 100Gbps, while other comparable systems only provide 10Gbps.

Sophisticated filters to maximise search precision and data retrieval
integrity. This allows items of interest to be identified which may have been
missed previously due to data retrieval overload, making identification
easier and faster.

Only telco grade intercept probe designed to NEBS Level 3.
Most compact footprint and best power efficiency - at least half the size of
other systems on the market (and ten times smaller than equivalent software
solutions). This reduced footprint minimises hosting space in the data
centre, as well as air conditioning requirements.

Alan Burnett, Product Manager, at Roke Manor Research, said: "The ability
to monitor and collect relevant data more precisely is increasingly vital to
reduce both cyber crime and support homeland security activity. Aquila will
revolutionise this as increased data volumes can be processed faster, more
precisely and cost effectively."

Roke will be exhibiting Aquila at ISS World Europe, Prague 14-16th June
