The Theatres Trust Announces the Nominees for its Inaugural People's Choice Award at PLASA 2010

LONDON, September 10, 2010 - The Theatres Trust announces the nine nominees for its first People's
Choice Award which will be presented on its Ecovenue stand (2-M28) at PLASA
2010, Earls Court on Tuesday 14 September 2010 at 6pm.

Products nominated by participating manufacturers demonstrate
improvements in sustainable theatre technology. Visitors to PLASA 2010 are
invited to vote on the products, which are being used to illuminate an
exhibition outlining the work of The Theatres Trust's Ecovenue project.
Products have been entered by the following manufacturers:
1. ETC 2. I-PIX 3. Global Design Solutions 4. JB Lighting 5. Philips Vari' Lite 6. Prism Projection, Inc 7. Robert Juliat 8. SeaChanger 9. Whitelight

The winner will be presented with the People's Choice Award on Tuesday 14
September at 6pm at a ceremony on the Theatres Trust Ecovenue stand. Drinks
at the Awards event have been kindly supported by Clay Paky.
We are also pleased to announce that the Association of Lighting
Designers' Michael Northern Bursary Award will be presented on the Theatres
Trust Ecovenue stand on Monday 13 September at 12.30pm.
Visitors to PLASA 2010 are welcome to attend both events.
Ecovenue is a European Regional Development Fund backed environmental
sustainability project being run by The Theatres Trust which aims to make a
real difference to the environmental performance of 48 London theatres, and
is leading the way in promoting the reduction of carbon emissions through the
provision of free theatre-specific, environmental business support.
The Theatres Trust is pleased to acknowledge the support of the following

1. European Regional Development Fund: London European Regional
Development Fund 2007 to 2013: The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
is used to tackle regional disparities across Europe. The ERDF supports
regional development through actions such as business innovation and support
