The most beautiful teams are Spain, Italy, Brazil, France, Denmark and
the USA - they all have at least one beautiful player and the lowest number
of unattractive players. The least attractive teams are Switzerland,
Australia, England, Serbia, North Korea and Algeria.

BeautifulPeople.com is the largest community of attractive people in the
world and so far over 200,000 members have cast their vote.

Greg Hodge, managing director of BeautifulPeople.com said: "The most
beautiful player according to our members is Italy's Fabio Cannavaro,
followed by two Spanish players, Fernando Torres and David Villa.

"American talisman Landon Donovan, who wept after he helped the USA win
their group, was voted fourth most beautiful player.

"Collectively, the worst looking team is Algeria," says Hodge. "The term
'trophy head' could have been coined for most of their team. England follows
close behind, captained by the most unattractive player on the planet, Wayne
Rooney
. The England team do have very beautiful wives and girlfriends, but
this is surely due to their bank accounts which certainly makes them a lot
more attractive."

England's under-performing striker Wayne Rooney was voted the ugliest out
of all the players.

David James was the only England player to be rated as beautiful enough
for the site - news which is sure to cheer him up after he let in four goals
against Germany.

Robert Hintze, founder of the site said: "There is a direct correlation
between being attractive and being a great football player. Many of the 'most
attractive' players are also the best players. Many of them however have been
let down by their worse-looking teammates.

"Men and women wanting to create world class footballers for tomorrow
should look no further than BeautifulPeople.com for attractive mates to widen
their chances."
