European Division of the Association of Test Publishers (E-ATP) to Host Second Annual Conference: Growing Talent in Europe: Gaining Advantage Through Assessment

WASHINGTON, July 12, 2010 - Three prominent keynote speakers at the second annual E-ATP conference to
be held in Barcelona, Spain, September 29 - October 1, 2010 at the Dolce
Sitges resort, will educate delegates on doing business in Europe; gaming
advancements that benefit the testing industry; and, meeting the challenges
of change in assessment systems.
David Bearfield, Director, European Personnel Selection Office will give
an address titled Doing Business in Europe, Matching Between USA and EU; Sara
de Freitas, Director of Research at the Serious Games Institute at the
University of Coventry where she leads an applied research team working
closely with industry will present a keynote address titled Serious Games:
Opportunities for Assessment; and, Dr. Olaf Koeller, Director, Department of
Education, Leibniz Institute for Science Education (IPN) and full professor
of educational research at the University of Kiel, will present Meeting the
Challenges of Change in Assessment Systems.
