Lagardere Finally Admits That Wyser-Pratte Has Proven His Ownership - Resolutions Will Be Presented at AGM/EGM

NEW YORK, April 22, 2010 - Activist and retired Franco-American Marine Guy Wyser-Pratte noted that
Lagardere SCA (MMB.PA) had communicated to his attorneys today that the
Company had received sufficient evidence of proof of share ownership ending a
skirmish that has lasted weeks. As recently as this week, Arnaud Lagardere
had been claiming publicly that Mr. Wyser-Pratte still had not proven his
share ownership and that this would potentially affect the validity of his
resolutions to be put to shareholder vote at the 2010 AGM/EGM. Mr.
Wyser-Pratte commented: "This was just a ploy to distract shareholders from
the real issues that need to be debated - most importantly, the strategic
direction of Lagardere and its legal structure which is no longer viable in
the long term. I hope that fellow shareholders will stand up for their rights
and help me advance the cause of long term and sustainable shareholder
value."

Mr. Wyser-Pratte urged shareholders to send Arnaud Lagardere a clear
message and support his two resolutions being presented at the 2010 AGM/EGM
to be held on April 27.
