In a few weeks technology start-up skobbler will release the first iPhone version of its award-winning GPS-navigation software in Great Britain and Ireland. skobbler is a former Navigon project which has spun off in 2008 and has pursued a completely independent path from Navigon ever since. “Up to this point, we have been under the impression that navigation on the iPhone has been either great and ruinously expensive or cheap and rather annoying. skobbler aims at being the first navigation app that offers both quality navigation and great value for money,” says Marcus Thielking, one of skobbler’s founders.

Now journalists have the opportunity to pre-test the application before its actual release date. Please note: The offer is limited to 15 licences which will be assigned to those who contact us first.

Test Requirements:

skobbler is compatible with iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. In case you use a data flat tariff, no additional costs are incurred during skobbler usage. Without data flat, you incur the standard costs for online usage according to your mobile phone tariff.
