TOKYO, September 21, 2010 - NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced on September 21 that its
subsidiary NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will be opening a branch
office in Ayutthaya, Thailand on September 30. The new Ayutthaya Branch will
be the company's third branch office and will provide multinational companies
in Thailand with ICT solutions including services such as network, data
center and security, system integration and Internet access service.
Situated 70 km north of Bangkok, Ayutthaya had prospered as a capital
city in previous times, and since the 1990's has launched a large-scale
industrial estate and developed as an industrial district to attract many
companies. Over 500 Japanese and other multinational companies, including
electronics and automotive manufacturers, are currently located in the
region.
The addition of the Ayutthaya Branch expands NTT Com's network of
subsidiaries and offices to 73 cities in 29 countries/regions.
"The launch of the new Ayutthaya branch office will enable NTT Com to
access within 30 minutes neighboring industrial estates such as one of
Thailand's biggest, Rojana Industrial Park, and Hi-Tech Industrial Estate,
where over sixty percent of the settled companies are from Japan, as well as
Thailand's first industrial estate, Nava Nakorn," said Tsuyoshi Kawashima,
Ayutthaya Branch manager and the concurrent president of NTT Communications
(Thailand), "NTT Com expects enhanced support and the immediate dispatch of
engineers in case of trouble at the industrial estates."
